Velvet Carrom Privacy Policy

1. Who this policy covers

This policy describes Velvet Carrom, the Android game published by Nakshatra AI LLC (package name com.nakshatra.carrom). It explains what the game stores on your device, what product analytics it sends, and what is shared when you play a friend on the same Wi-Fi network.

It does not cover the Google Play Store or other websites you open from the game.

2. Who we are

3. Information stored on your device

Velvet Carrom has no accounts. The details below are saved in the game’s files on your phone or tablet. We do not receive a copy.

• Player profiles: the display name you type (Guest and Player 2 by default) and the avatar you pick from the game’s built-in set.
• Settings such as sound, vibration, reduced motion, difficulty, board style, and which tips you have already seen.
• An unfinished match so you can resume it, and your match history totals, such as games played and won.
• Whether you have answered the in-game rating question, and when it was last shown, so the game does not ask too often.
• Session counters, such as how many times the game has been opened, used to describe usage in broad ranges.

4. Product analytics

Velvet Carrom sends product analytics to Google Firebase Analytics so we can see how the game is played and where it can be improved. This starts when you open the game.

The events describe gameplay and app use: which screen or menu was opened, the game mode and difficulty, match length and result, shot and turn counts, how long aiming took, session length, and whether you answered the rating question with yes, no, or later. Some settings and usage ranges are attached as properties, such as sound on or off and a range like 2–5 sessions.

The events do not include your profile names, avatars, contacts, location, or anything you type.

Firebase also receives an app instance identifier and the Android advertising identifier. These identifiers are used to count usage. The game does not show ads, and these identifiers are not sold or shared with advertising partners.

The analytics connection uses HTTPS. Google processes this data as our service provider.

5. Playing a friend on Wi-Fi

When you choose to host or join a game with a friend on the same Wi-Fi network, the two phones talk to each other directly on that local network. Your profile name, your avatar choice, and the shots of the match are sent to the other phone. Nothing in a Wi-Fi match is sent to a Nakshatra AI server.

The game asks for Wi-Fi and network state access so it can find a nearby table on that network. It does not use your location.

6. Rating the game

From time to time the game may ask whether you are enjoying it, and you can also tap Rate Velvet Carrom in Settings. Choosing to rate opens the Google Play Store, where your review is handled by Google under its own terms. We do not receive your Google account details.

7. What this version of the game does not do

• It does not create an account or sign you in.
• It does not show advertising and has no in-app purchases.
• It does not ask for your location, contacts, camera, microphone, or photos.
• It does not sell personal information, and it does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

8. This webpage

This policy is published at https://nakshatra-ai.com/velvet-carrom/privacy/ so you can open it in a browser without installing the game.

The nakshatra-ai.com website, including this page, is separate from the game. The website uses Google Analytics to measure visits to this site. That measurement is separate from the product analytics in the game, described above. The website’s terms are at https://nakshatra-ai.com/terms/.

9. Children

Velvet Carrom is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The game has no chat, no accounts, and no way to contact other players outside a local Wi-Fi match.

10. Your choices

You can change profile names and avatars in the game at any time. Clearing the game’s storage in Android settings, or uninstalling the game, erases everything it stored on that device.

You can reset the advertising identifier, or delete it, in your Android Google settings.

If you email us, we use that message to answer you and keep it only as long as needed for that correspondence.

11. How long information is kept

Information on the device stays until you clear the game’s storage or uninstall it. We do not keep a server copy.

Analytics events are kept by Google under Firebase Analytics retention. Clearing the game’s storage does not delete events already sent.

12. International processing

Product analytics are processed by Google, which may store that data outside your country.

13. Changes to this policy

If we change how Velvet Carrom handles information, we will update this page and the date above. If a later version adds ads, accounts, or online play, this policy will be updated before that version is released.
