Groups, goals, and tasks on your devices

Coming soonApp Store

The App Store listing name is First Up by Nakshatra. A public App Store listing is not live yet.

About this app

First Up keeps groups, goals, headings, and tasks on the device you use.

Sign in with Apple is optional. On Mac you can continue as a guest. Nakshatra AI does not run an account server for these lists.

When iCloud backup is on, the app can sync through your iCloud account. You can share a list with people you choose through Apple’s sharing sheet.

Groups and goals

Organize tasks under groups and goals, with status, priority, tags, and due dates.
On-device storage

The workspace stays on the device. A Nakshatra server does not hold a copy.
iCloud when you want it

Mac writes a backup to your iCloud Drive. iPhone and iPad can sync through CloudKit until you turn that off.

These are the permissions this app uses, and why each one is there.

Notifications

Optional. Local reminders show a goal or task title and when it is due.
Photos

Optional. You can pick one image for a goal icon. The app does not ask for the camera or the whole photo library.
iCloud

Used to back up and sync lists, and to share a list you choose to share.
Sign in with Apple

Optional. It identifies you on the device. It does not create a Nakshatra account.
